When walking through a neighborhood, one often sees newly built detached homes where the exterior landscaping is still a muddy mess, or where mailboxes and intercoms are haphazardly attached to hastily driven wooden stakes—a "temporary" look that persists long after completion. Frankly, there are also many instances where the style of the house clashes with that of the landscaping or garden. While some of these cases may reflect the homeowner's own preferences, it often seems that the exterior work was treated as an afterthought—cases where the homebuilder or contractor left the project unfinished, or where the homeowner hired a landscaper they found themselves but ended up with a vague, uncoordinated result.

VAZE’s history began with foundation and exterior construction work, eventually expanding into garden design and construction, and finally into the design and construction of the homes themselves. We have experienced firsthand the detrimental effects and issues that arise when exterior landscaping and garden creation are separated from the main building construction. We have met many clients who have faced frustration and hardship because of this. We believe that exterior landscaping and gardens are integral parts of a home’s design and functionality—elements that cannot be separated from the structure itself. We aim to coordinate everything—the garden viewed from inside, the exterior appearance in harmony with the landscaping—as a unified whole, working toward a shared ideal. Of course, while this is our ideal and our strength, we do not force it upon anyone. We are more than happy to undertake the design or construction of just the house, or just the landscaping and garden, and will do so with our full commitment. However, we are confident that we can deliver the best possible results to those who share our vision.

For instance, once a house is completed, exterior construction is often subject to various limitations. These include physical constraints—such as a lack of space for heavy machinery or issues regarding structural durability—as well as restrictions imposed by the original homebuilder or contractor. Some limitations are unavoidable, while others—even if surmountable—can lead to ballooning budgets when trying to realize one's ideal vision. What VAZE calls "total coordination" means that, because we handle both design and construction in-house, we are free from external constraints. This allows us to fully control the process—adjusting methods, sequences, and timing at will—to bring the best possible vision to life.

The same applies to landscaping. We often undertake landscaping and planting projects for properties where the building and exterior work were originally handled by other companies. Naturally, in such cases, we employ the best possible methods available. However, plants are living things. Whether they take root and thrive depends on factors such as the soil, the season of planting, subsequent weather conditions, and ongoing care. Sometimes, we are required to proceed with planting during mid-winter or mid-summer—times that are far from ideal. Under such conditions, no one—perhaps not even the plants themselves—can guarantee the outcome. Honestly, there is an element of a "gamble" involved. While we do everything a professional can, the lack of absolute certainty is precisely what makes landscaping challenging.

With VAZE’s total coordination, however, building construction and landscaping can proceed in parallel. We can plant at the optimal time for the vegetation and provide daily care and management alongside the construction work itself. This allows the plants to acclimate to the site and environment, take root, and grow strong. While risks can never be entirely eliminated when dealing with living plants, we can significantly minimize them before the client moves in. By the time of handover, the landscape is already established and harmoniously integrated with the building. This approach goes beyond simply "giving shape to an ideal"; it also reduces the burden on the client in terms of both effort and cost.

We believe this is the ideal way to realize a vision—a method that is uniquely possible because of VAZE.
